NOTICE TO AUTHORS

The Asian Journal of TeX publishes articles and notes about TeX and digital typography written in Asian languages as well as English. Authors are invited, regardless of their nationality, to submit articles and notes that bring interesting ideas to world wide TeX users.

  • Articles may be expositions of concepts or techniques related to TeX, LaTeX, or ConTeXt, or descriptions of a project or new technology that might be of interest to TeX users. Novelty and generality are far less important than clarity of exposition and broad appeal. Appropriate examples, figures, and codes are encouraged.

  • Notes are short, sharply focused, and possibly informal. They are often gems that provide a new implementation of a well known TeX code, a novel presentation of a familiar theme, or a lively discussion of a single issue.

Articles and Notes should be sent to one of the Editors. For an initial submission, please send a PDF file as an email attachment to ajt@ktug.org. The publication dates for this biannual journal are the end of June and December. If possible, please send ideas at least two months before a publication date, and please submit articles one month before a publication date.

We welcome discussion before you write your piece, so that we can agree on the contents and style. If you have already written an article or prefer to send us a draft article, then send an email to ajt@ktug.org and attach your article or note file.
